Plot

Several hundred years ago, the human race was nearly exterminated by the giants. It is said of how tall they were, lacking in intelligence and hungry for human flesh; worse still, they seem to devour humans more for pleasure than for necessary sustenance. A small percentage of humanity, however, survived by barricading themselves in cities surrounded by extremely high walls, even higher than the largest of giants. Eren is a teenager who lives in one of this city, where you haven't seen a giant for over a century. But soon an unspeakable horror is revealed at its gates, and a giant larger than anyone has ever heard of appears out of nowhere, breaking down the walls and raging along with other similar ones among the population. Eren, having overcome the initial terror, promises to eliminate every single giant, to avenge all of humanity.
